Collection: Embera Earrings

All these unique pieces are hand beaded by Embera Chamí women from various parts of Colombia. We work directly with the artisan group Asociaciòn de Artesanas Imaginando con las Manos in Jardín, Antioquia. A collective made up of 50 women from the Indigenous reservation Karmata Rúa.
Along this group, we work with a Chamí family in Pueblo Rico, Risaralda. Lina Siagama and her family are generational beaders who take pride in their work and show off their talent using long held techniques to make modern and funky designs with a touch of traditionalism in each style. Each pair is woven using a needle thread or loom technique and can take anywhere from 1- 4 days to make depending on the artisan and design!
